People using this track often encounter a number of buck species along the way. Mountain biking has become exceptionally popular on Mount Edgecombe Country Club Estate, and children are able to enrol in mountain-biking lessons with Ian Wilson from Single Track Minded, who built the multipurpose track. Children can also enjoy the pump track, which is an undulating cycling track for children, positioned at one of the seven community centres on the estate. All community centres boast a swimming pool and many have children’s playgrounds, braai facilities, slides and cricket nets.
Children living on the estate can attend numerous holiday clubs, including Arts & Crafts, Mountain Biking, Stand Up Paddle boarding as well as soccer, rugby, tennis, squash and golf holiday clubs. The main Clubhouse was recently renovated and now shows off the amazing golf course views with their many water features. There are also an array of resident events, including food and wine pairing evenings, comedy nights, and ‘Movies Under The Stars’, to name a few, as well as the annual estate festival complete with a fishing competition.
