Newmark Residential Estate consists of 184 freehold residential properties, two apartment blocks with 70 and 60 apartments respectively and a small office park zoned for administrative offices.
Newmark Residential Estate is located in the Hazeldean nodal development area in the East of Pretoria. Hazeldean comprises residential and retirement villages, schools, churches, clinics, colleges, retail centers, and a variety of commercial properties. Access to Newmark Estate is gained from Graham Road into Silver Lakes Road. The Estate has one secure entrance from Silver Lakes Road and is bordered by the Farm Inn Nature Reserve and the Hazeldean Office Park. All social, recreational, and commercial amenities are available within a 15 minutes drive and access to the major national freeways is easy.
Newmark Residential Estate is registered with CIPC as a non-profit company in terms of the Companies Act, Act 71 of 2008. The main business of the Company is to promote, advance, and protect the communal interest, safety, and welfare of all shareholders.
Security
- The Estate is fenced with a perimeter wall with electric fence and movement monitoring technology.
- All-access is controlled via a single security entrance and exit point. This point is manned 24 hours a day and CCTV cameras provide constant surveillance of the area at the entrance.
- Entrance to the residential area is controlled with electronically coded access cards that allow controlled movement for residents, their guests, and contractors through the inner booms. All-access cards are to be acquired at the office.
- The interior of the Estate is regularly patrolled by security officers with a patrol dog and intermittently, with a vehicle.
