In Wierda Glen Estate we strive to live in harmony with each other and our natural surroundings.

Wierda Glen Estate was developed by ABSA DevCo during 1999 – 2000. It consists of Rooihuiskraal North extension 16 and erf 1076, Rooihuiskraal North x 14. It is bordered on the South by the Historic Rooihuiskraal Battlefield Terrain, and on the North by the beautiful Bishop Bird Park Nature Trail. Natural parklands of more than 10 ha form the heart of our Estate. The slogan that was used in the initial marketing of the Estate, “breathe deep, breathe easy…” is especially relevant when strolling through the parkland areas.

The first residents moved in 2000, and today the Estate consists of 748 levy contributing households of which 394 are full titles & duets and the remaining 354 homes are situated within sectional title complexes.

The Estate offers 24-hour controlled access and has its own dedicated armed response vehicle and security team to assist in emergencies.
