In an age where home security has become the norm, the chance to live in an environment that does not look like Fort Knox, but is completely secure at the same time, is becoming more and more of a need than a luxury for most people.
Arabella Country Estate, situated just outside of Kleinmond in the Western Cape, has found the perfect balance between safety and fine living. The estate has a security system of world class standards as part of their mission to keep the estate as tranquil and safe as can be.
“Security is one of the four pillars of our Estate’s Vision and we strive to maintain the highest standard possible keeping the latest proven technology in mind,” says Estate Manager, Dirk Uys. “It is very important for us to stay ahead.”
Our security system consists of Biometric Finger Print Readers for home owners and staff whilst security officers scans visitors driver’s and vehicle licence discs, whilst at the same time electronically capturing the number of passengers, all on hand held scanners.
The estate also boasts very strict perimeter security measures, which is covered by an electrified metal palisade fence permanently monitored by thermal imaging cameras, motion activated spot lights, a speaker system and an infrared beam alarm system.
To top it off, roving patrols enhances the activity, all closely monitored by a well-equipped control room. With standby generators ensuring it will continue to run even during load shedding.
