As parents with children, you know better than anyone the challenges that travelling with children can pose for you.

The Rajiv Gandhi Science Centre is a joint venture between Mauritius and India.  It’s designed to stimulate a love for science and technology in the young.  Exhibits are explained and encouraged through hands-on activities.

L’Aventure Du Sucre

This extraordinary and ultra-modern exhibition space is a converted ancient sugar factory.   There are enthralling images and old machinery on display, and – a special delight for the kids – you can later enjoy a sweet treat from the onsite restaurant.

Parc Aventure Chamarel

Parc Aventure Chamarel, in the heart of a sub-tropical forest, offers a novel array of sporting activities tailored to all levels. You will travel from tree top to tree top and from track to track equipped with a harness linked to your safety lifeline. There are also scenic kiosks overlooking the beautiful Chamarel Valley.

La Vanille Reserve Des Mascareignes

Expert guides will take you on a walk through lush greenery providing shade for the thousands of Nile crocodiles that are reared in the park and can be viewed safely. There’s also a live exhibition of geckos, monkeys and snakes and an amazing insectarium packed with over 20,000 species including brilliantly coloured butterflies.

Ride In a Sub Scooter

Pilot your own twin underwater scooter (dubbed the “Sub Scooter”) to a depth of up to 4 metres in total safety, and enjoy a truly unique underwater experience.  Sit comfortably one behind the other breathing normally inside a transparent and panoramic glass dome.

Aquarium Mauritius

The Aquarium Mauritius in Pointe aux Piments is home to a large number of species originating from the waters around the island.

The giant Victoria Amazonica water lilies are a highlight here.  Kids will be especially delighted by the free-roaming deer and tortoises.

Heritage Nature Reserve

Bel Ombre Nature Reserve features a rich fertile forest and a spectacular waterfall.  It is home to many beautiful animals and birds.

Swim With Dolphins

Travel to Black River Bay by speedboat to encounter dolphins in their natural habitat. Spinner and bottlenose dolphins gather in large numbers in the bay and what fun it is to swim around with them!
