The company offers its most discerning customers a unique variety of vehicles that combine exclusivity with superior driving experience. The new edition of the BMW 8 Series provides a particularly emotional boost for the brand’s current model offensive in the segment.
The modernisation and extension of the product range began with the new BMW 8 Series Coupé. Next came the new BMW 8 Series Convertible with added open-air pleasure to provide a more distinctive driving experience. The third member of the model series, the four-door BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé, is marked by superior performance characteristics along with the luxurious space for two additional passengers.
The BMW 8 Series Coupé was developed in parallel with the BMW M8 GTE endurance racing car. It embodies the classic two-door body shape that blends beautiful lines with dynamic driving characteristics. It is a low-slung vehicle with an elongated silhouette and widely flared shoulder section, while its wide track hints at its driving potential.
The BMW 8 Series Convertible, whether viewed when the roof is open or closed, showcases the harmonious exterior design of the elegant two-seater.

The exterior design of the BMW 8 Series Gran Coupé features a characteristic side profile capturing the signature four-door design. This model has a wheelbase that is 201 millimetres longer to provide additional leg room for passengers seated at the rear.
In designing the interior of the BMW 8 Series models, a unique balance was achieved between a driver-oriented cabin and unique elegance to be enjoyed by all occupants. This is accentuated by the standard Ambient Light that stylishly illuminates the contours of the dashboard and door sills. An M leather steering wheel with multifunction buttons and shift paddles for manual gear selection of the 8-speed Steptronic Sport Transmission is now standard in all the new BMW 8 Series models. All model variants of the new BMW 8 come with an M Sport package as standard.
The standard equipment of the new BMW 8 Series includes the BMW Live Cockpit Professional. Its fully digital display network, with intuitive touch functions, consists of a 12.3-inch instrument cluster behind the steering wheel and a Control Display whose screen diagonal has increased in size from 10.25 to 12.3 inches. The BMW 8 Series range – now, more than ever – continues to rewrite the rules for precision, sophistication, craftsmanship and luxury in a sports car package.
