One of the bigger lessons learnt in 2020, within community spaces, is that without effective and transparent communication things can go wrong and quickly! This lack of information is offen misconstrued as meaning a lack of action and, in many communities, this has lead to the management teams taking the hits.
Digital communication channels managed by the HOA and that have a high uptake and engagement by residents, have definitely held communities together. For those that didn’t have this facility in place, or have a facility that is lacking, this last year has been even more challenging.
