What is CAISA?

Community Association Institute of South Africa (CAISA) is the first international chapter of the US-based Community Association Institute (CAI). We believe that home owners and community associations should strive to exceed the expectations of their residents. We aim to provide professional accreditation to the members within the industry, equipping the individual to reach the highest level of expertise and qualification. CAISA members include board members, HOA leaders, community managers and professionals who provide products and services to associations.

Why join CAISA?

Estate management has been a profession in South Africa for several years, but until 2013 no formal education programmes were available for the industry. With the successful establishment of CAISA, the various CAI PMDP courses became available, which has made it possible for estate managers to obtain the PCAM distinguished designation.

M100: the essentials of community association management

The M100 is the first course that needs to be completed for your PCAM and covers the fundamentals. Through the Essentials of Community Association Management (M100), CAISA provides the most comprehensive, expert educational courses for community managers seeking to increase their skills, knowledge and employment opportunities. Successful community management starts with the essentials!

This Comprehensive Community Association Management course provides a practical overview for new managers, an essential review for veteran managers, and an advanced course for board members. You’ll receive a 400-page participant guide filled with dozens of sample forms and time-saving tips for working with home owners, vendors, managers and other professionals.
