The capital city of Victoria is a pretty town and a cool place to visit.  Take in the historic clock tower erected in 1903 as a tribute to Queen Victoria and the buzzing bazaar bursting at the seams with great bargains.  And while there, savour the Seychellois street food.  A visit to the Coconut Plantation House of La Digue is a popular excursion in the Seychelles and is one of the places where the rare giant Aldabra tortoises can be easily viewed.

Vallee de Mai is THE must-visit spot of Praslin Island.  This is where the unique and intriguing Coco De Mer palm grows naturally, and the area is furthermore a bird watcher’s paradise.  Morne National Park is a favourite spot for nature loving hikers.  Another option is to hike up the Copolia Trail on Mahé Island to the granite hilltop for eye-popping views of the island.

Zip lining is a very popular pastime in the Seychelles, so much so that there are eight zip line ranges to enjoy, some of which are child-friendly so make for a great family day out.  The massive granite outcrops on Mahé Island offer great challenges for rock climbers
